Men's Ministry
We believe men have been called to the high standard of not only loving God with their whole being, but also leading their homes and God’s church. We believe that men are called to be servant leaders, just as Jesus served us. We believe men need to be trained as leaders in both their knowledge of God’s Word, but also shown by the example of older, more mature men. In men’s ministry we are guided by the principle that we need other men in our lives to encourage, exhort, and help us in different aspects of our high calling. Titus 2 lays out some of these principles for men’s ministry that we strive to follow:
- Knowing and living out sound doctrine is not only vital to growth but in giving glory to God (Titus 2:1, 5, 10)
- Older men are to be mature and serve as models to younger men (Titus 2:2)
- Younger men are to learn in both word and action from older men, and then be a model themselves to their families and community (Titus 2:6-8)
