Women's Ministry
We believe that the main component to a person’s growth is the Word of God played out in relationships. This is our focus in Women’s Ministries, making sure that each woman grows in a deep and mature relationship with God through the venue of mentoring relationships centered on God’s Word. Titus 2 gives us principles that we endeavor to follow in planning out the activities, functions, and service opportunities that our women involve themselves in. Some of these key principles are:
- Knowing and living out sound doctrine is vital, not only for personal growth but in giving glory to God. (Titus 2:1, 5, 10)
- Older, more mature women are to train and teach younger women through relationships. (Titus 2:3-5)
- Although relationships serve as an instrument God uses in spiritual growth, true training comes from the grace of God, which instructs us in godly living. (Titus 2:11)
- Women’s roles are uniquely tied into that of male roles in the home and church. (Titus 2:2-6)
