Extended Care Program
Grace Brethren Schools provides an Extended Care Program for our working parents who need a secure environment in which to place their children and to provide a safety net for all parents in the event of an emergency which might prevent them from picking up their children at the end of the school day.
Extended Day is a well organized and well supervised place to leave your children while you are at work. Our staff is comprised of adults (18 years or older) who love both the children and the Lord. They have had training and a great amount of experience working with children.
While your student is in Extended Day they can take part in many exciting activities including organized crafts, painting, cookie classes, group games, board games, story time, movies, playground time and much more! We also have a Study Hall program in the afternoon where students can complete their homework while they are still in Extended Day. In the afternoon snacks are offered to students.
Hours: Extended Day begins at 6:30 AM and ends at 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. Extended Day is not offered during normal school hours, only before and after school. We are open on select days when school is not in session, please check your annual calendar for specific dates.
Holiday Camps
Holiday Camp is offered during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.
The camps provide opportunities to take part in age-appropriate, engaging activities with friends. The activities are seasonally relevant and can include trips to swimming pools, beaches, and other water activities. Children have the opportunities to participate in active sports and games, hands-on science activities, water play, creative arts and crafts, and other activities. A number of off-campus field trips occur during the camp, usually on Fridays.

Summer Camp at Grace Brethren Elementary School

Camp Champion is THE place to be for Summer Fun!
Are you ready to have fun? Summer will be here before you know it!
We are getting ready for summer this year!. Camp Champion will begin on June 14th and conclude on August 13th. We are going to have a blast this summer and activities for all grades Kindergarten thru 6th. We will offer in conjunction with on-site activities for K-2nd grade. Camp Champion will have worship time, theme weeks, cooking days, Hot lunch program, a new game room and fantastic places to go; Knott’s Berry Farm, Santa Barbara Zoo and the Long Beach Aquarium just to name a few.
Grace Brethren School offers a fun and safe summer camp for students. Camp Champion includes three sessions, each with a variety of programs, running from mid-June through the Mid-August.
The camps provide opportunities to take part in age-appropriate, engaging activities with friends. The activities are seasonally relevant and can include trips to swimming pools, beaches, and other water activities. While at Camp Champion, children have the opportunities to participate in active sports and games, hands-on science activities, water play, creative arts and crafts, and other activities. A number of off-campus field trips occur during the camp, usually on Fridays. All students will participate in our Vacation Bible School that is held on our campus in late July.
Camp Champion is a full day summer program from 8:30 am to 3:00 PM for school age children entering first through sixth grades. Our staff is comprised of adults (18 years or older) who love both the children and the Lord. They have had training and a great amount of experience working with children. Extended care hours are available for those families that require the service at normal rates.

Camp 1 - June 14th through June 25th
Camp 2 - June 28th through July 9th
Camp 3 - July 12th through July 23rd
Camp 4 - August 2nd through August 13th
After completing the forms, please return them to the Elementary Campus Office.
