Student Life
Welcome to the Student Life homepage! Here you will find information concerning the experiences of and opportunities available to every student at Grace Brethren Jr./Sr. High School.
Developing a young adult’s spiritual life, mind, body, and social awareness demands a spiritually sound and rigorous academic commitment, competitive athletics, a creative fine arts department, and exciting extra-curricular offerings. These opportunities enable our students to explore and develop their God-given talents; while also allowing them to fellowship with others that have the same interests.
Motivated by our vision to “honor Jesus Christ by making disciples and teaching them to love God and people,” Grace Brethren Schools has developed a fully integrated Student Life program. As discipleship occurs inside and outside of the classroom in the context of real relationships, our overall program seeks to provide students with the opportunity to get more deeply involved with their peers and with our faculty and staff. These opportunities range from our afterschool clubs to our weekly chapels with each one specifically designed to draw each and every student into a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.
One of the things that you will find at Grace Brethren is the deep spiritual and personal commitment of our faculty to our students. Students are more than names in a gradebook and files in a drawer. This commitment is evidenced by the practical way in which our faculty reaches out through discipleship relationships.
We have divided the online content for “Student Life” into three broad categories:
Spiritual Life
Campus Activities
Field Trips
While these three categories are far from being mutually exclusive in terms of their influence on the lives of our students, the division makes the content more manageable. Feel free to look around and if you have any further questions do not hesitate to email:
Alicia McCormick (Activities Director) or Ryan Anthony (Dean of Students).
