Purpose

The purpose of Grace Brethren Ministries is to honor Christ by making disciples and teaching them to love God and people.  The Lancer Booster Club is to be the fundraising arm of the Grace Brethren Schools High School Athletic Program.

Membership

The Lancer Booster Club membership is open to all parents of participating athletes, parents of alumni, alumni, or currently enrolled students of GBHS.  The Lancer Booster Club Executive Committee shall be comprised of the LBC Officers, the high school Athletic Director, and the high school Principal. 

Officers

The Lancer Booster Club Officers shall be a President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer.  LBC officers must understand this is a leadership role in a ministry of Grace Brethren Church and School and are expected to maintain personal conduct consistent with the philosophy of this ministry.

Meetings

The LBC currently meets on the second Monday of each month at 7pm in room 44 at the high school.  New members are always welcome.

Fundraising

The booster club sponsors multiple fundraisers throughout the school year.  The chief of these is the Lancer Golf Classic held in late September.  Through these fundraisers the LBC has been able to make a significant impact on improving athletics at Grace Brethren.  The LBC has been responsible for the building of the weight patio, iron mike pitching machine, the delores for volleyball, a new scoreboard for our basketball team, team shelters for soccer and giving our baseball team a new infield.  All of these purchases would not have been possible if not for the generous contributions of our parents, sponsors and donors.
