Different Course, Same Result

Simi Valley, CA - Four days had past since their previous match but nothing changed for the Lancers.  A front nine score of 201, a back nine score of 203 for an 18-hole total of 404 which was good enough for another win!  Once again Cameron Dishman and Joey Leonard were tied on top for Grace - this time with scores of 75. Dallas Marvin posted an 83 and Dominic Ariondo an 84.  However, the Lancers were boosted by the continued improvement and solid play of freshman Matt Woodard.  A new personal best for Woodard resulted in a score of 87!

Trinity Classical Academy saw glimpses of solid play from their top players but in the end the difficult course and long walk did them in.  Grant Wolf had their low round with an 87 and Amanda Hori posted a 93. 

With the win Grace will finish at 9-2 for the regular season.  Their front nine score of 201 was their 8th qualifying score of the season which will now make them eligible for playoffs.  While the Lancers earned an automatic playoff birth in 2009 & 2010, this year's team is the first to earn a playoff spot based on their qualifying scores!

The Lancers will head out to Olivas Links on Thursday for Tri-Valley League Tournament #5 where several of their players will look to improve their odds for individual playoffs.
