Jr/Sr High Color Run Was a Blast of Colorful Fun!

On October 28, the Junior and Senior High students participated in the first-ever Grace Color Run and the first annual Fall Fundraiser. We thank God for the kindness that was shown to the school through the fundraiser. The financial goal was smashed with a total of $61,065! Funds raised will be used to furnish brand-new lockers for our students.

While the fundraising component of the event was a huge success, the event itself was good "clean" fun. There were over 280 students (80+%) that participated in the color run and the color powder hovering over campus gave witness to it. The students and staff sprayed over 475 lbs of powder at each other during a crazy, impromptu, pre-run "powder fight" and during the run itself. A DJ added enthusiasm to the afternoon which concluded with a drawing of $200 in gift cards and a pair of AirPods Pro. The students and staff left the day messy and smiling.

The color run would not have been possible without the help of parent volunteers. A team of parents put hours and hours of work into the run preparation. On the day of the event upwards of 30 parent volunteers showed up a few hours before the run and stayed until everything was cleaned up in order to create a special day for the students. We are immensely grateful for the love and support shown by our parents throughout this event!

The Lord certainly blessed the school through the color run more abundantly than we could have imagined!

Ephesians 4:20-21 "Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all the generations, forever and ever. Amen."
