Fifth Grade Walks Through the Revolution
On November 4, our fifth-grade students participated in our annual Walk Through the Revolution. This event is the culmination of our unit studying the founding of our nation and is always a ton of fun. Each student is assigned the role of a historic character from the American Revolution. Students dress up according to their roles and present their lines to an audience of their classmates and parents. They even get to reenact some of the battles the colonists fought during the war and taste traditional colonial foods from the time period. Our students worked hard to learn their parts and put on a splendid production!
