Lacrosse is on FIRE
The Grace Brethren Varsity Lacrosse team is having a breakout month. After a slow start and dropping to 0-3 early in the season, Grace bounced back and is currently sitting at 6-5 record.
April 1 was no joke for Grace, they showed up in full force defeating Beverly Hills 13-3. After a day of rest, Grace would travel to Calabasas, who could not answer the Lancers attack. Grace would come out victorious with a 12-3 win. After outscoring its last two opponents by a combined score of 25-6, Birmingham would put up a fight but go down by final score of 9-5. Looking to stay hot, Grace would travel to play Saugus on a warm, windy day. After a tough defensive battle, Grace would edge out a 7-4 victory.
Grace Brethren is led by standout junior Payton Gourley, junior Cody White, junior Lucas Lasecla and sophomore Jayden Hammer.
Grace Brethren Lacrosse is looking to stay hot as they face a tough Village Christian opponent. The Lancers will play host to Royal High School on April 18 at 6:00 pm as they honor their seniors.
