What's been happening at Grace...
Grace High School Robotics Team 986A recently qualified to compete in this year's Worlds Championships, making this the 14th consecutive year that at least one team from Grace qualified for Worlds!
Senior Priya Torres, Jersey #7, was named to Ventura County's All-County Girls Soccer First Team!
Senior Ian Nelson, and junior Grant Cobos, were featured this week in the Simi Valley Acorn. The two Grace High School students presented their in-depth studies on Mars and the Moon during the American Geophysical Union (AGU) conference in San Francisco on December 14, 2023.
From preschool to high school, Grace students welcomed in the Christmas season with joyful musical performances. The 6th grade and Jr/Sr High bands kicked off the season with their Christmas performance, Hear Them Ring, on November 30th. Then, the Jr/Sr High choir presented Sing We Now of Christmas on December 7th and 8th. Our preschool students took to the stage on December 11th with an adorable performance titled A Joyful Noise, and our K-2nd graders sang their hearts out on December 12th in their show titled, Behold! Finally, the 3rd-6th grade students finished out the season with their performance called Do You Hear What I Hear? on December 13th.
You can see an example of our Preschool's hands-on learning approach in our Butterfly Class's recent exploration of the letter "C." Our students engaged in workbook writing practice, fine motor cereal gluing, and Christmas tree decorating.
