Elementary Wraps Up the Year with Evening on the Green
Last Friday, all 420 of our elementary students participated in Evening on the Green, a beloved tradition to close out the school year. The event was directed by Mrs. Jennifer Carter, our elementary Fine Arts instructor.
Parents, grandparents, and family friends gathered to share a picnic dinner on the field. We enjoyed food from four local vendors: Mister Softee, Grander King Cafe coffee cart, Chick-fil-A, and Rock and Roll Cafe.
The performance portion of the evening featured our 6th grade band, Elementary Choir, 3rd graders playing their recorders, and special solos from multiple students, in addition to the all-school songs.
Afterward, families visited their classrooms for Open House and explored the art show in the MPR, which featured artwork from all of our students in a glow-in-the-dark theme. Blacklights lit up neon art pieces in a truly memorable experience!
