Varsity Softball Takes the Tri-Valley League by Storm
Varsity Softball is sitting 3rd place in a highly competitive Tri-Valley League (3-2 League; 6-4 Overall).
True Freshmen Rosy Salazar is a force to be reckoned with both on the mound pitching and at the plate batting. She has over 75 strikeouts thrown in 42 innings, leading all players in both Strikeouts and Earned Run Average in the Tri-Valley League. Rosy is hitting .500 on the season and sets the tone for Grace offense in the leadoff batting spot.
True Freshmen Grace Maguire is stamping her name at the plate. She is leading the Tri-Valley league with a .704 batting average. She sits 2nd on the list of league “sluggers”, which is a significant metric used to measure a players’ overall offensive prowess. She leads the team in RBI’s with 14 and her first high school recorded hit was a Grand Slam! She leads the league in on-base percentage and is doing a phenomenal job at third base.
Softball has 3 regular season games left on the schedule and will be honoring 4 senior student-athletes at their final home game on Tuesday, April 25th at 4:00 PM at the Lancer softball diamond. Come on out and cheer them on!
