Health and Safety

Under the current COVID-19 guidelines from the state, here are things that we’re doing:

  • We’ve temporarily changed our hours to 6:30am-5:30pm.  This allows the afternoon staff to do a thorough cleaning at the end of the day.
  • We are doing a daily health check.  Each morning we will ask you health related questions, as well as check each child’s temperature.  Students exhibiting symptoms of illness will not be admitted.
  • The campus will be divided into two groups, with each group having four classes.  The two groups of students will not mix, however, the classes within each group may mix as minimally as possible.  Areas that may be utilized by both groups will be sanitized between each group’s usage.
  • We’re doing LOTS of sanitizing.   The staff is sanitizing things the students use or touch throughout the day (including the playground and restrooms), and then thoroughly sanitizing everything at the end of the day.
  • We are requiring that all parents and visitors wear masks while on campus.  Because the students are being health screened on a daily basis, they are not required to wear masks.
  • We’re practicing social distancing.  We ask that parents practice social distancing at drop-off and pick-up by waiting outside if another family is in the hallway.
  • We encourage parents to not enter the classrooms in order to reduce potential exposures within the classroom.  If a parent does need to enter a classroom briefly, the staff will take the parent’s temperature and ask the health screening questions.  We are not allowing in-class parent volunteers at this time.
  • We’re helping reduce germs.   At the sign-in/out counters, we have provided clean pens for each parent’s usage.  We also have provided hand sanitizer in key locations for your usage.
  • Notice & Release. Upon starting/returning to school, each family needs to sign a release.
