All students and staff will be health screened prior to entering campus. They will be asked health questions and have their temperature taken. If a student's temperature is over 99.5 (taken with the no touch thermometer), they will not be allowed to enter campus.
To help the flow of students on and off campus there will be three points of entry before and after school during our carpool/pick up times. The gates will be divided up by grade level.
Parents will need to say goodbye to their students at the gate. Parents will not be allowed to enter campus to pick up or drop off their students. While waiting at during pick up or drop off, please use the markers on the ground to socially distance from other students entering campus.
At the end of the school day students will exit the same gate that they entered. Parents may either utilize our carpool option or they may go up to their students gate and staff will call up their student.
Lunch will be eaten outside at our lunch tables like normal. However, students will be grouped by class and dismissed to recess as a class. Our lunches will follow CDPH guidelines and be prepackaged. Our lunch staff distributing the food will wear face coverings and gloves.
Per CDPH guidelines all students on campus will be required to wear a face covering while on campus.
Students may apply for a medical exemption with supportive documentation.
All staff, teachers and visitors will be required to wear a face covering. The only exception for teachers will be when it is required to remove their face covering and use a face shield for pedagogical reasons.
We encourage students to attend school each day. During this unique time if a student is displaying any symptoms of COVID-19 they need to remain at home. Our primary goal is to maintain the health of our school community.
Your child should not come to school if the answer to any of the questions below is yes:

Thanks to our PTF and your amazing contributions during last years APEX fundraiser we have new drinking fountains on campus. The drinking fountain part is capped but the touch-less water bottle refilling stations are still available. We highly encourage students to bring their own water bottle with their name clearly marked.
